Clear agreements from the outset
Your proposal or agreement sets out the scope of our services, the fee and the applicable terms. The relevant conditions are provided before you accept the commission. This page explains where to find the documents; it does not replace your agreement or the complete conditions.
DNR 2025
The New Rules 2025 were developed by BNA and Royal NLingenieurs for advisory and design commissions. They address cooperation, fees, rights of use, liability and termination, among other matters. DNR 2025 also takes account of consumers as clients. It applies when incorporated into the agreement.
Consumer Regulation 2013
The Consumer Regulation 2013 (CR 2013) is a concise set of conditions for commissions between private clients and architects. It describes their respective rights and obligations. BNA continues to provide these documents. Your agreement specifies whether this regulation applies to your commission.
Which conditions apply to my commission?
Listing both regulations on this website does not mean that they apply together. Your agreement specifies the applicable regulation and version. Publishing new information here does not change an existing commission. Please contact us if you have questions about the conditions for your project.
