What we do

An extension designed in harmony

A thoughtfully designed extension makes your whole home feel more spacious, brighter and more enjoyable. As architects, we consider the house as a whole. How can an extension improve the layout, bring in more daylight and strengthen the connection with the garden?

We design extensions that enhance the character and existing qualities of your home. Every house, whether a 1930s home in Voorburg or a townhouse in The Hague, calls for its own approach. Your wishes, budget and the building’s possibilities form the starting point for an extension that feels like a natural part of your home and enriches it as a whole.

Renovation with charm

Renovating a home begins with recognising what makes it special. As architects, we explore which qualities to preserve and enhance, and where change is needed. A better layout, more daylight or a welcoming kitchen-diner improves everyday comfort.

We combine your home’s character with contemporary comfort. From a Hague apartment to a villa in Wassenaar, each home deserves an individual approach, considering spaces, materials and original details. Energy efficiency is integral from the outset. Better insulation and suitable building systems improve comfort and reduce energy use, with measures tailored to your home, the way you live and the budget you have available.

New life for heritage

Whether it involves extending a home in a conservation area in The Hague, renovating a nationally listed building in Delft or extending a locally listed building in Leiden, every project calls for a considered approach. As heritage architects, we investigate what makes a building special, what should be preserved and where there is scope for change. In this way, we bring historic qualities together with contemporary comfort.

We consult the local heritage authorities early in the design process. Together, we explore the possibilities for alterations, energy improvements and extensions, respecting the existing architecture. Your wishes and budget guide this process. By carefully coordinating research, design and consultation, we work towards a clear design and a smooth planning application process.

Interiors with an eye for detail

A new sightline between living room and garden, a thoughtful lighting plan or a bespoke kitchen can significantly improve the comfort of your home. In our designs, architecture and interiors therefore form a cohesive whole, tailored to your daily rhythm.

From a kitchen where cooking and gathering come together to a carefully arranged wardrobe or a finely detailed dining table, we give every element our attention. Your wishes and habits are our starting point. Through bespoke designs, considered materials and carefully chosen colours, we connect spaces to create a cohesive interior that feels naturally at home in your house.

Your villa, designed around you

A villa in Wassenaar or a home on an individual plot in The Hague begins with the place and the people who will live there. The landscape, sunlight, views and garden guide our design. Have you found a plot or already purchased one? We explore its possibilities and translate your wishes into a personal design.

We design detached homes that bring architecture and interiors, spaciousness and comfort together as one. With attention to the surroundings, sustainable materials and energy-efficient solutions, we create a home that suits your daily life and budget, from the first sketch to the smallest detail.
