Color and character

In this townhouse in Rijswijk, original details and colourful additions have been brought together into a cohesive whole. The house has been renovated, upgraded for energy efficiency and extended with a kitchen and dining area that connects the home to the garden. New sightlines link the existing layout of interconnecting rooms with the extension and garden.

Original features have been carefully restored. New tiling in a contemporary colour palette complements the original stained glass, while the timber extension with its green window frames sits comfortably alongside the traditional house and lush garden.
